Senior Vice President of Sales

A rapidly growing organization in the employee benefits and insurance services industry is seeking a strategic, hands-on sales executive to lead and scale its revenue organization. This is an opportunity for a proven sales leader to step into a highly visible role where they can shape the future of the sales function, build infrastructure for growth, and directly influence company strategy and performance.

The ideal candidate is currently serving as a VP of Sales, SVP of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer, or similar senior commercial leader within an insurance, employee benefits, healthcare services, or business services environment. Candidates must bring both individual contributor success and sales leadership experience, along with a track record of building scalable, repeatable sales organizations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a growing sales team, currently consisting of approximately five team members with anticipated expansion
• Create and formalize sales processes, methodologies, and performance standards
• Build and manage a predictable sales pipeline and forecasting process
• Develop revenue growth strategies across multiple channels and market segments
• Establish KPI tracking, reporting, accountability measures, and CRM best practices
• Coach and mentor sales professionals to improve performance, win rates, and revenue generation
• Partner closely with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies
• Evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and go-to-market initiatives
• Help design compensation structures, territory strategies, and sales organization architecture
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing to ensure sustainable growth and execution

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
• Current or recent experience in a VP, SVP, CRO, or equivalent senior sales leadership role
• Experience leading and developing sales teams while maintaining executive-level customer relationships
• Strong background in B2B sales environments
• Insurance, employee benefits, healthcare services, or business services experience strongly preferred
• Proven success building sales infrastructure, forecasting models, and scalable revenue processes
• Experience creating sales strategies that drive measurable growth
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization
• Data-driven decision maker with strong business and financial acumen
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

This position is based on-site in Orange County, CA.
Base salary in the range of 200-230K DOE, plus commissions and bonuses.
Up to 30% travel as needed.
