A leading specialty mechanical contractor in the New York metropolitan area is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join the team at a significant project site in Brooklyn. The company delivers comprehensive services across both public and private sectors, working on some of the most high-profile projects in the region.
Job Description:
The Scheduler will play a critical role in planning and maintaining project schedules, collaborating closely with the construction and project management teams. The responsibilities include:
- Developing project schedules from pre-construction to close-out.
- Tracking, updating, and reporting on schedule performance.
- Collaborating with construction field teams and project management to maintain and update schedules.
- Creating schedule fragnets for Time Impact Analyses and conducting scenario studies.
- Leading schedule review meetings and facilitating pull planning sessions with teams and subcontractors.
- Assisting in advanced scheduling tasks, including earned value analysis, cost/resource loading, and claims management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- At least 10 years of experience in project scheduling, particularly with large-scale projects ($250M to $500M+ preferred).
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with public projects, including infrastructure, water/wastewater, or commercial construction, is a plus.
- Proven team-building and leadership abilities, with capacity to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing high-value projects in the New York area.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee complex construction scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $195 to $225K DOE
