A global manufacturing organization with multi-entity operations, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate HQ in Phoenix. This role supports the organization’s accounting, financial reporting, and treasury-related functions. The position focuses on consolidation accounting, intercompany activity, reconciliations, audit support, treasury coordination, and month-end close. The role works cross-functionally across business units to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial operations. The position also contributes to initiatives aimed at improving, streamlining, and automating accounting and finance processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform monthly consolidation accounting
- Support accounting for domestic and international entities
- Assist with equity accounting for preferred and common shares
- Perform foreign currency (FX) accounting and coordination with treasury activities
- Prepare equity-related financial statements and supporting schedules
- Complete account reconciliations
- Provide audit support
- Support project-based accounting initiatives
- Track and account for research and development (R&D) activities
- Support treasury-related functions, including cash activity, bank reconciliations, and coordination with financial institutions
- Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity reporting
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in corporate or general accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or advanced degree preferred
- Experience with mid- to large-scale ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
85-100k DOE, plus 10% bonus and full benefits
