Looking for an remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to answer a high volume of calls received from patients to assist with their billing statement inquiries. Provide customer service support to patients, accept patient payments, utilize NextGen software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily insurance claim submission and follow-up, including working and posting claims of patients under various insurance plans
• Handle high volume of incoming calls, assisting customers with their billing questions, and take payments.
• Utilize Microsoft Office products effectively, communicate issues and updates clearly, and meet productivity standards set by RCM leadership
Required Qualifications and Education:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-3 years of medical RCM or accounts receivable experience related to the described duties
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with EMR software functionality and operations
• Experience with PMS systems, EMR systems, and clearinghouses is essential
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and work cooperatively with other departments
