Product Owner
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (On-Site)

We're seeking an experienced Product Owner to serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and technology teams. You'll own the product roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and ensure the platform delivers real value to users while supporting the company's long-term growth strategy.

Our client is a well-established organization serving small and mid-sized businesses across the United States. As part of a major strategic investment, they are building a comprehensive SaaS platform that will replace multiple third-party technologies, streamline operations, and create a best-in-class solution for their customers. Long term, this platform will be positioned as a commercial SaaS offering to other organizations within the industry.

What You'll Do
- Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog
- Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into product requirements
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for engineering teams
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and technical considerations
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
- Make informed decisions around scope, priorities, and product direction
- Track product success metrics and continuously improve the user experience
- Ensure delivered features align with business objectives and quality expectations
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a SaaS environment
- Experience owning product roadmaps and driving software development from concept through delivery
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to write user stories, define requirements, and prioritize product backlogs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools is preferred
- Experience with AI-enabled products or automation initiatives is a plus
- Experience within insurance, healthcare, benefits, or another regulated industry is helpful but not required
