Human Resources Generalist (UKG Power User)
Construction Industry | Multi-State Workforce
A growing construction company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with strong, hands-on UKG experience to support day-to-day HR operations and payroll while serving as an internal UKG subject-matter expert to the greater HR team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on and who can help provide insight and light training to the team through a system conversion from a user perspective.
What You’ll Do

Serve as a primary UKG resource for the HR team during and after system conversion

Support general HR functions including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance

Assist with payroll processing and troubleshooting as needed

Support a multi-state employee population, ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws

Train and support internal users on UKG best practices and workflows

Partner with leadership and field teams in a fast-paced construction environment
What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist

Strong UKG experience (user-side expertise required; implementation exposure a plus)

Experience supporting construction or similar blue-collar/worksite environments preferred

Multi-state HR and payroll exposure

Solid working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with operations teams

Onsite | North Phoenix

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 55-70K DOE, plus bonus
