Business Development Manager
(Physician Staffing Sales — Remote, Contract)
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a driven, well-connected Business Development Manager to expand our client base among hospital systems, public health departments, and large medical practices nationwide. This fully remote, contract role is built for a hunter — someone with deep physician staffing sales experience who knows how to turn relationships into signed contracts. The ideal candidate brings a strong existing network within healthcare systems and public health sectors and thrives owning the full sales cycle in a fast-paced, independent environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- New Business Development: Secure new contracts with hospital systems, municipal health agencies, and large group practices.
- Market Expansion: Identify and engage prospective clients across multiple U.S. markets to grow our national footprint.
- Relationship Leverage: Draw on existing industry relationships to accelerate deal velocity and open new doors.
- Outreach Strategy: Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies tailored to each prospective client.
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Own the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and qualifying through negotiation and close.
- Onboarding Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding for new clients.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5+ years of experience in physician staffing sales, with a proven track record of winning new business and exceeding goals.
- A strong existing network within hospital systems, health agencies, and the broader physician staffing space.
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality — motivated by results and comfortable generating your own pipeline.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder who can engage decision-makers at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle, from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
