Associate Property Manager
Location: Paradise Valley, Arizona
Compensation: 70-90K DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (100% on-site)
A privately held, third-generation commercial real estate company is seeking an Associate Property Manager to join its close-knit team in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
The company currently manages approximately 425,000 square feet of office, medical, retail, and industrial properties, including both owned assets and third-party management agreements. With plans to acquire additional properties this year, the portfolio could grow to more than 1 million square feet, creating significant opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercial property management professional with at least two years of experience who wants to work directly with ownership in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.
Position Overview
The Associate Property Manager will work closely with the senior property manager, supporting the day-to-day operations of a local commercial real estate portfolio. This role offers broad exposure to tenant relations, vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, and financial administration.
As the portfolio expands, this individual will have the opportunity to assume greater responsibility and potentially manage properties independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for approximately 70 tenants
- Respond to tenant inquiries and coordinate maintenance requests
- Communicate with vendors and oversee service completion
- Solicit and compare vendor bids for repairs and projects
- Conduct regular site visits to local properties
- Track certificates of insurance and vendor compliance documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and data entry support for the accounting team
- Maintain organized property files and management records
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial property management experience required
- Active Arizona Real Estate License required
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a small-office environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi or MRI required
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required
