Assistant Property Manager – Commercial Real Estate

We are partnering with a well-established commercial real estate firm that manages a diverse portfolio of owner-managed and third-party properties across Arizona and Texas. Their portfolio includes approximately 1.5 million square feet, with a strong focus on big-box anchored retail centers along with office and industrial properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a Property Manager role over time.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Property Manager will support day-to-day operations across a multi-state portfolio, working closely with senior leadership and property management teams. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of retail, office, and industrial properties

• Code and process invoices; support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Maintain tenant relationships and respond to tenant needs

• Coordinate with vendors and oversee service contracts

• Track and report tenant sales data for retail properties

• Ensure Certificates of Insurance (COI) compliance

• Support general property accounting and reporting functions

• Conduct site visits approximately once per month (mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial property management experience required

• Experience supporting retail, office, or industrial assets preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

• Active real estate license preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months (company-sponsored, including CE)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000
