Accountant | Commercial Real Estate

We are seeking demonstrated academic strength in accounting or finance coursework and interest in commercial real estate finance and investment performance. Work with a portfolio of commercial assets including retail, office, and mixed-use properties.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated entry-level to mid-level Accountant who is eager to develop their career within the commercial real estate industry. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong foundation in accounting, exceptional analytical ability, and a strong intellectual curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for an assigned portfolio of commercial properties
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate owner financial reporting packages
• Gain exposure to Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations and property-level financial reporting
• Partner with property management to develop annual operating budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and file monthly Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) returns in accordance with state and local regulations
• Produce monthly and quarterly cash flow projections and coordinate distributions to property owners
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic financial / accounting software
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
