Accounting Support Specialist
Are you detail-oriented and Excel-savvy, looking to start your career in accounting? We have an exciting entry-level opportunity for a Accounting Support Specialist (Sales Auditor) who will be responsible for verifying and auditing daily financial reports from our stores across the U.S..

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Ownership of Store Audits: Manage the auditing process for 25-50 stores, ensuring accuracy in daily cash and credit card reports through our POS system.
• Data Management: Download financial data, pull necessary reports, and enter them into journal entries in Excel.
• General Ledger Posting: Post accurate entries to the General Ledger (GL) and maintain up-to-date records.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and communicate any discrepancies to store managers, ensuring all financial records are accurate and reconciled.
• Excel Proficiency: Utilize Excel for data entry, including light pivot tables and linking, without the need to build out new formulas. Familiarity with navigating and manipulating data in Excel is essential.

Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and detail is key, as this role involves manual work within Excel.
• Excel Skills: Comfortable with Excel, including light pivot tables and linking data.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate discrepancies and audit findings to store managers.
