Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a temporary-to-hire role. This position offers the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly support our company’s growth.  As a shared services department, the AP Specialist will service internal partners with unique AP processes and systems once they are onboarded.  This requires a strong knowledge of accounts payable best-practices, along with the ability to move through multiple SOPs seamlessly each day.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process for a category of vendor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payments in a high-volume environment.
• Serve as a key point of contact for vendors and internal partners, addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring smooth communication.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Leadership Team to enhance processes, integrating new practices into our growing portfolio.
• Contribute to the success of the Accounting Operations team by performing additional duties as needed.

What You Bring:

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a high-volume setting.
• Curiosity: The ability to approach problems or road blocks with creativity and an “outside the box” approach to process improvement.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems like Sage, SAP, Great Plains, or Acumatica.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and internal collaborations.
• Detail-Oriented: A proactive mindset with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $28/hr
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in office) in Scottsdale
Target start date: Immediate
Temporary Position with the possibility of conversion in Q1 2026
