Commercial Electrician – Power Systems
Salary: $70,000–$100,000 DOE
Are you a Commercial or Industrial Electrician looking to take the next step in your career? This role is ideal for an electrician with 2–5 years of experience who wants to transition into power systems, backup power, and critical infrastructure work—without needing prior field service technician experience.
We’re seeking a hands-on electrician with a solid electrical foundation, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset to support UPS systems, backup power, and power distribution equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
What You’ll Do

Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on single- and three-phase electrical systems

Support UPS systems, backup power systems, and power distribution equipment

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation

Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate test equipment

Provide professional, customer-facing support at client sites

Document work performed and maintain accurate service records

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (2 weeks on / 4 weeks off)

Travel locally and occasionally out of state for short assignments
What We’re Looking For

2–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience

Strong understanding of AC/DC theory and single- and three-phase systems

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently

Comfortable working in live environments

Willingness to learn UPS systems and critical power infrastructure
(prior UPS or field service experience is a plus, not required) -
Solid communication and customer service skills

Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Education:
Associate degree or technical training in electrical systems preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
