Estimator – Commercial Concrete Construction
 

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic preconstruction team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a critical role responsible for quantity takeoffs, pricing, and assembling bid packages for a wide range of commercial concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate concrete quantity takeoffs

• Review design drawings and specifications; attend pre-bid meetings and site visits

• Lead bid efforts and prepare detailed proposals

• Develop conceptual estimates and value engineering options

• Coordinate closely with the design and operations teams

• Obtain and manage vendor/subcontractor pricing

• Assemble and submit comprehensive bid packages

• Review construction schedules and drawings for opportunities and risks

• Assist with change orders and subcontractor negotiations

• Maintain and expand historical unit pricing data

• Lead preconstruction meetings and client presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred

• 5+ years of experience as a concrete estimator on projects 5MM++

• Proficiency in estimating and quantity takeoff software (Tekla experience highly preferred)

• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and materials

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical specs

• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills

• Effective communicator with proven relationship-building skills
