Administrative Manager (Bilingual – English/Chinese)


About Us:

Newly opened regional office in the Phoenix area is seeking a motivated,  Administrative Manager who is bilingual in a Chinese language, to help launch and support office operations. This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity with clear potential for growth as the US operations scale as part of a global company.


Position Overview:

The Administrative Manager will play a critical “catch-all” role in the successful setup and daily operations of the Northwest Phoenix office. This individual will serve as the vital communication link between the overseas leadership team and  U.S. business partners, ensuring productivity and business continuity.  The Administrative Manager will handle office management and facilities, administrative support functions, document management, internal and external communications, scheduling and other duties as needed.

This is an ideal position for a recent STEM graduate with 2-5 years of work experience, who is eager to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced, and culturally diverse environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between U.S.-based partners, vendors, and overseas stakeholders
  • Provide translation and interpretation support (English/Chinese – Mandarin or Cantonese; Japanese is a plus) during meetings, calls, and document exchanges
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, supplies, vendor management, and basic accounting support
  • Manage and organize business documentation, reports, contracts, and communications
  • Assist with travel arrangements, event planning, and executive support as needed
  • Help onboard future employees and support the setup of incoming engineering teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (reading, speaking required; writing preferred)
  • Japanese language skills are a bonus
  • 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international and/or fast-paced, professional environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general business software
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 DOE
