Vendor Onboarding Specialist

Are you someone who excels in managing details and driving projects to completion? We are seeking a Vendor Onboarding Specialist with a primary focus on handling vendor onboarding and compliance for the national purchasing department of a large homebuilder. This role is key in ensuring that all vendor-related processes run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Onboarding: Collaborate with specialists to review all necessary documents before beginning the enrollment process. Once enrollment is approved, manage the process through to completion, working closely with the insurance company, Legal, Accounts Payable, and Risk teams.
  • Contract Management: Responsible for legally contracting all trades, including managing Master Agreements, Project Level Agreements, Assignments, Addendums, and more. Maintain and archive records, ensuring all schedules within contracts are followed up on and met.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of vendor agreements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in Construction or Homebuilding is preferred, but not required
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, as you will be one of the first points of contact for new trades during the onboarding process.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills required.  Other systems include SmartSheet, E1 and DocuSign.
  • Administrative Skills: Prior experience with administrative duties is required.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently on projects, while still being a collaborative team player when needed.
  • Innovative Thinker: Commitment to improving current processes and thinking outside the box to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
