Real Estate Development Analyst / Coordinator

About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Real Estate Development Analyst or Coordinator to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. This critical role will support our real estate development, construction, and finance functions, with a strong focus on payment application (Pay App) processing, construction budgeting, and loan compliance management.
You’ll work closely with internal development and construction managers, general contractors (GCs), lenders, and our third-party accounting partners to ensure smooth operations across our development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Pay App Management:
- Process, review, and track payment applications from GCs
- Coordinate with third party accounting and lenders for timely processing and payments
- Construction & Financial Reporting:
- Maintain and update development proformas
- Track and report construction spending vs. budget
- Manage and document change orders and potential chargebacks
- Loan Compliance:
- Monitor ongoing loan requirements and ensure timely reporting
- Ensure compliance with lender agreements throughout the project lifecycle
- Budgeting & Bidding Support:
- Support VP of Construction in preparing detailed project budgets
- Facilitate bid comparisons and evaluate GC proposals
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience - Proven experience handling Pay Apps and construction budgets
- Advanced or Expert-level Excel skills
- Prior experience building and managing real estate development proformas
- Experience with lender-funded real estate projects
Soft Skills & Abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and urgent requests
- Strong communication skills across departments and external partners

Salary Range
$78 – 80,000 + DOE Annual Salary + Bonuses + Full Benefits
