This role is pivotal in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates that drive the success of our construction projects.
As an Estimator, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure our proposals are not only cost-effective but also aligned with project goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete construction projects, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor contributions.

Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope, risks, and requirements.

Source and evaluate pricing information from vendors and subcontractors to ensure the most accurate and competitive bids.

Maintain and utilize historical data, unit costs, and estimation databases to support estimate accuracy and consistency.

Assemble comprehensive bid packages and present estimates clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with project teams to resolve discrepancies and adapt estimates in response to design changes or scope adjustments.

Maintain organized records of all estimates and communications for future reference and audits.

Stay current with concrete construction methods, technologies, and market trends through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction estimating, with a strong emphasis on concrete work.

Working knowledge of concrete construction materials, methods, and industry specifications.

Excellent analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with internal and external teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic estimating software; experience with advanced takeoff or estimating tools is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

Target Base Salary: ~$100,000 DOE
