Community Manager Opportunity: Lead with Impact

Your Impactful Role:

As our community manager, you will:

  • Lead with purpose: Serve as a key leader in creating a resident-centric environment, driving initiatives that elevate the resident experience.
  • Communicate effectively: Foster open, transparent communication and build positive relationships with residents, staff, and board members.
  • Manage daily operations: Oversee the smooth management of assets, staff, and vendors while ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and community goals.
  • Enhance community standards: Uphold and enforce community guidelines, CC&Rs, and design review processes to maintain the community’s vision.
  • Advise and collaborate: Provide strategic guidance to the board, supporting long-term planning and goal-setting.
  • Financial stewardship: Create, manage, and monitor operating and reserve budgets, offering variance reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Motivate a dynamic team: Supervise, develop, and inspire site staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Foster connection: Host regular meetings with residents and volunteers to build community spirit and respond promptly to resident needs.

What You Bring:

  • Proven expertise: At least 5 years of onsite community management (HOA) or similar experience.
  • Operational and financial acumen: Strong skills in managing community operations and financials.
  • Effective communication: Ability to connect with residents, board members, and staff through excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Leadership skills: Exceptional organizational, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree, relevant designations, or certifications are highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge: Familiarity with community association laws, guidelines, and governance (highly preferred).
  • Compliance-ready: Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings and obtain a CAM license within 90 days, if applicable.

Salary: $90k + DOE
