Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk (Hybrid – Scottsdale, AZ)
Pay: Up to $29/hour DOE
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days remote per week)
Type: Temp-to-hire ( 90-day conversion target)

A small but busy organization is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk to provide day-to-day accounting support, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. This position will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate and timely financial records and ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 50 employees (ADP experience helpful but not required).

Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger entries.

Perform daily deposits and reconciliations, including PayPal transactions for membership payments.

Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

Prepare journal entries and assist with financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a small-business setting.

Proficiency in Sage 50 or QuickBooks (experience with similar small-business accounting systems is acceptable).

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
