Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 + Bonus

A premier real estate development firm in North Scottsdale is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to lead reporting, analytics, and project tracking across a growing portfolio of real estate development and investment projects. This highly collaborative role will work cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while also creating scalable systems to track performance, drive insights, and support critical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track budget vs. actual costs, construction timelines, leasing milestones, occupancy rates, and project status across the development and asset portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal departments and executive leadership to standardize and streamline project life cycle workflows.
- Develop and maintain a scalable, organization-wide process to track and display overall project status—balancing high-level oversight with actionable, granular data.
- Identify and document lessons learned, critical overlaps, and hand-off points to improve workflow efficiency and execution.
- Monitor and report key financial metrics including NOI, cash flow, P&L performance, debt yield, DSCR, and property tax trends.
- Track and report critical items impacting project progress and timelines.
- Ensure Certificates of Occupancy are received and appropriately distributed.
- Partner with the head of leasing and third-party property managers to optimize asset performance and stabilize new developments.
- Oversee and coordinate property inspections, manage remediation efforts, and ensure resolution of findings.
- Support funding and exit strategy activities, including sale and refinance negotiations, by providing data-driven insights and financial support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis.
- Prior experience in real estate development, construction, or property management preferred.
- Project management skills, including ability to design and implement scalable tracking systems and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Excellent financial analysis capabilities, with experience across balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reporting.
- Experience collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders and third-party partners.
