Real Estate Paralegal

Experienced paralegal needed to join a dynamic and growing real estate development firm specializing in commercial and large-scale development projects. Work closely with CEO, in-house counsel, investors, financial institutions, legal teams, and municipalities to bring transformative real estate projects to life.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to support our legal and development teams in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, contract management, and due diligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law, title review, and development agreements, as well as experience working with attorneys, investors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions.
  • Conduct title and survey reviews, identifying and resolving encumbrances or other issues. Handle utility easements.
  • Prepare and manage closing documents, including deeds, loan documents, and escrow instructions.
  • Draft, review, and manage purchase agreements, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, and easements.
  • Facilitate real estate closings, coordinating with attorneys, investors, lenders, and title companies.
  • Conduct due diligence, including researching zoning, entitlements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue private placement  memorandums as part of equity capital agreements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal within a law firm or real estate development or investment firm.
  • Experience with zoning, land use regulations, entitlements and title reveiw.
  • Familiarity with joint venture agreements, financing documents, and development contracts.
  • Ability to coordinate with attorneys, investors, and external stakeholders.
