Senior Vice President of Sales (Path to CRO) — Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Summary
We’re hiring an SVP of Sales to build a sales organization from the ground up at a fast-growing, founder-led healthcare company in Phoenix. This is a go-to-market focused role with a defined path to Chief Revenue Officer.
If you want to inherit a mature org with clean process and a full bench, this isn’t it. If you’ve built one before and want to do it again with real ownership, keep reading. This is a dynamic opportunity to work alongside an executive leadership team with a proven track record of building and scaling multiple fast-growth companies from infancy to household names.
Scope
– Build the sales organization: structure, hiring plan, onboarding, ramp, comp design, forecasting, and the operating cadence that holds it all together
– Carry the number. Roughly **$15M in net new ARR by the end of 2027**
– Move the go-to-market motion from SMB and midmarket toward enterprise
– Deepen market position within ICP target and leverage unique product offerings to create lasting partnerships
– Partner directly with the CEO, President, and COO on pricing, positioning, and revenue strategy
Required
– SaaS sales leadership experience where you built and scaled a team from the ground up — not stepped into one that already existed
– A track record as a team builder and player-coach, not a top individual producer who has never carried a team
– Genuine comfort in a small, founder-led, early-stage environment where process is something you create rather than something you’re handed
– Prior experience in G2M strategy within the technology and/or healthcare technology sectors
– Willingness to earn the CRO title and equity over time rather than requiring it on day one
Nice to Have
– Experience selling into franchise, multi-unit restaurant, or retail ownership groups
– Experience taking a company from an SMB/midmarket motion into true enterprise sales
Compensation and Benefits
– $200,000 base (firm) plus commissions and early-attainment and over-quota variable comp
– Full health benefits and 401(k)
– Unlimited PTO plus an expanded holiday calendar
