Fund & Compliance Manager
The Fund & Compliance Manager will work internal accounting teams as well as state and federal regulatory agencies. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, applicable statutes, and federal program funding requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process reimbursement requests and funding invoices in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records of funding transactions and allocations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory and compliance reports to federal and state agencies.
- Collaborate with accounting and procurement teams to align financial data and processes.
- Support budget revisions, audit requests, and documentation management.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all reporting and documentation.
- Monitor and track funding allocations for broadband projects.
- Coordinate with grant-funded subrecipients, consultants, and leadership teams to ensure program-wide consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, audit, compliance, bookkeeping, or grant/fund management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Client-focused approach with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and web-based financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to adapt to change and work independently in uncertain environments.
- Self-starter with a passion for program development and process improvement.
- Experience with state fiscal management systems such as E-Civis and Ready.net.
Salary: 70-75K
Hybrid with office in downtown Phoenix
