What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Purpose: Drive community initiatives that enhance the resident experience and foster a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Communicate Effectively: Build strong relationships through clear, open communication with residents, staff, and board members.
  • Oversee Operations: Manage daily operations, association direction, and the maintenance of community assets, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with staff and vendors to execute board directives and meet community goals.
  • Maintain Community Vision: Uphold the community’s vision through careful management of CC&Rs and design reviews.
  • Enforce Standards: Support and enforce community standards as required by governing documents and applicable laws.
  • Manage Risks: Ensure liability and insurance policies meet all legal and community requirements.
  • Advise the Board: Provide valuable insights on long-term planning, goal-setting, and policymaking.
  • Financial Stewardship: Administer operating and reserve budgets, and prepare variance reports to ensure financial health.
  • Inspire & Develop Your Team: Lead, motivate, and develop your onsite team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Engage the Community: Host regular meetings with residents and volunteers to build a strong sense of connection and belonging.
  • Responsive & Professional Support: Address resident requests promptly and professionally.

Salary: $90-120K DOE

 

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician with specialized experience in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), backup power systems, and power distribution equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background in electricity and electronics, coupled with a commitment to exceptional customer service. This role involves performing technical maintenance and repairs on critical power systems while ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate under the guidance of the Service Operations Manager and other company officers.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on single and three-phase UPS systems, as well as power quality and distribution equipment.
  • Offer expert technical support and guidance to customers regarding operational and maintenance issues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain effective communication with clients during technical interventions.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance activities to maximize efficiency and benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Prepare and submit detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication with colleagues and supervisors about all service activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in working with UPS systems, battery technologies, emergency power systems, or related electrical/electronic fields.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with one or more leading UPS brands, either through factory or field training, along with relevant field technician experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals, electrical and electronic schematics, and company procedures.
  • Solid understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems, as well as AC/DC circuit theory. Skilled in using various test equipment.
  • Availability for an on-call rotation schedule: 2 weeks on-call, followed by 4 weeks off, including potential night and weekend shifts. Must be prepared to provide 24/7 emergency support as required.
  • Willingness to travel, including out-of-state trips once per month (up to 3 nights) and local travel within Arizona as needed.
  • An associate degree in electricity, electronics, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism and tact.
  • Competency in documentation, timely reporting, and computer literacy.
